If i use your service, do i get a certified birth certificate?
Yes, barring certain rare circumstances. Our service is designed for anybody who needs a certified, government issued birth certificate. This type of birth certificate is valid for passports, driver licenses, social security cards, and more. If you need a certified birth certificate, our service is the easiest and most convenient way to get one online!
For anybody to receive a certified birth certificate, the issuing government office has some specific requirements, which our service is here to handle for you, which we prepare for our clients in a Filing Package. Please read the next tab for more details.

HOW DOES THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE SERVICE WORK?
Our birth certificate service is designed for anybody who needs a certified, government issued birth certificate. We've built our system to be the simplest and easiest way to request a certified birth certificate on the web! Similar to how a tax preparation and filing service handles taxes for it's clients, our birth certificate service handles/processes all materials and paperwork required in requesting/filing a request for a certified birth certificate. This results in our clients receiving a certified birth certificate directly from the issuing government office (with some rare exceptions).

- Gathering and preparing the proper paperwork and materials for your specific birth certificate request. This will vary depending on the state/county of birth and type of request. Our experts will locate and prepare the proper paperwork unique to each clients birth certificate request.
- Creating customized next steps for the client to complete any additional state requirements to obtain the birth certificate. This may vary by the state of birth, county of birth, and the clients relationship to the subject of the record. These next steps are tailored specifically to the certificate request at hand to avoid risk of rejection by the issuing government office.
- Preparing any items required such that the birth certificate request paperwork can be easily and effortlessly be filed by our client. Generally, this means we will prepare a pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelope for our client such that the required documents can easily be sent to the issuing government office.
- Delivering all of the above items to our client in what we call a Filing Package. In general, we mail the above items to our clients by regular US mail. We do this for two reasons: 1) To keep shipping costs down for our clients and 2) To save our clients from the hassle or locating a printer, envelopes, and stamps, which is associated with email delivery of these items. However, we are happy to email the package items if requested.
WHY DID I GET PAPERWORK IN THE MAIL?
In order to issue a birth certificate, an issuing government office has certain requirements. And anybody who wants to receive a birth certificate must satisfy these requirements to get a birth certificate! That paperwork, or Filing Package, contains those requirements, most of which we have already hand prepared and taken care of for you.
However, there are certain pieces of those requirements we simply cannot do on behalf of our clients, such as signing a request form, making an ID photocopy, or writing a check for government fees. But because we have handled all of the parts that we are able, generally a client can satisfy any additional requirements as outlined in the Filing Package in less than 5 minutes.
While we would love to simply mail our clients a birth certificate directly, this is simply impossible. The paperwork step of the process is unfortunately unavoidable. But we've made it incredibly simple.

DO YOU OFFER CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS?
Because "Fast" is in our name, we generally prepare Filing Packages immediately upon receiving an order! Because we begin our service of preparing these documents immediately, we cannot offer refunds or cancellations. Anybody who places an order with us has to agree to our Terms and cancellation/refund policy prior to placing an order with us. However, in some rare cases we make exceptions to this policy.

Our Processing Times
We have Fast in our name. So of course, that means we process orders very, very fast! For Rush orders, we prepare, process and mail the Filing Package the same business day that we receive the order. In other words, we perform the service the same day we get the order.
For Standard orders, we prepare, process, and mail the Filing Package usually within 5 business days of receiving the order.
All Filing Packages are mailed via regular US mail which can take up to 10 business days in transit. Upon request, we can email the documents instead. Our processing times are unrelated to, and do not include government processing times.
Government Processing Times
Government processing times are the time is takes the issuing government office to process and mail the birth certificate starting from when they receive the request paperwork. So although we are fast in the service we provide, of course we cannot control government processing times to mail the certificate. Government processing times are 100% out of our control, and not related to the service that we offer. We encourage our clients to check with the issuing office directly for questions related to processing times. We list estimated government processing times on page 1 of the Filing Package, however these are just rough estimates and may not be completely current.

We charge a flat, one time fee for our birth certificate service. This is our service to prepare all necessary materials for the birth certificate filing, as described above in "how does the birth certificate service work". For $39.95 (standard processing) will mail out the Filing Package usually within 5 business days. For $69.95 (rush processing), we will mail out the Filing Package the same business day we receive the order. We also offer services which can be added on, such as passport and social security card application preparation services.
Government fees for the birth certificate request are not included in our service fee. In the customized next steps portion of the Filing Package, we include instructions to pay the the appropriate government fee for the specific order. We also will list the appropriate government fee on the confirmation email, just so a customer knows what to expect.
